Leave Your Attitude at the Door

Posted by: mirian

The widely excepted, but unspoken method of keeping a job and maintaining a neutral relationship with peers is be POSITIVE, be a plus to have around and not a negative someone wants to remove.

Personal problems is not everyone's problem, so leave it at home, don't come to work with a bad attitude.  Don't take your anger out on others.  Inability to maintain your emotions is a concern to your boss and others, be open to your boss about problems that you feel will affect your quality of work.  Create an understanding between you and co-workers, practice methods to calm yourself.

Meditate.  Excersize.  See a therapist.

Check your attitude at the door and pick it up after work.  Practice makes perfect, right?

To maintain a healthy body you need to eat three to four times a day and get at least eight to eleven hours of sleep every night.

Teenagers most often do not follow this rule, late night and unhealthy foods are common during this period of a person's life.  Eating and sleeping habits can affect their performance in school, grades and their attentiveness.  Their body starts to get use to sleeping late and it becomes difficult to adjust when they need to sleep early and wake up early.

This can cause insomnia, this illness can last for months depending on the person and for how long they have had it.  Sleep and rest is an important way to maintain good health.  Lack of sleep can cause a person to feel tired and lessen the effectiveness of the body's immune system, which can lead to illnesses.

Excessive usage of medications can be harmful to the body.   When people can't sleep or when they feel depressed they use medications such as sleeping pills or anti-depressants that assists and alleviate.

However, these medications can lead to an addiction, where the body can not function if the medication is deprived.  They become an addict.  Some of these health problems can be pretty annoying, so instead of taking over the counter medication, try some natural remedies.  Some herbs can cure insomnia, depression, head aches, upset stomach, acne and many other health problems.  There are side affects to natural remedies as well, so the key thing to remember is "moderation".

There are known natural remedies for the skin conditions, acne, such as: apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, and saw palmento.  The most common illness that people take medications for is headaches, however, there are natural approaches to alleviate the common headache, such as: peach and apricot juice, you can also use cinnamon or peppermint.  Whatever option you choose to take, always remember that moderation is key.  Too much of one thing is bad.
